Kansas United

The Kansas United Organization was originally formed by former Kansas University basketball player, Jeff Hawkins in 2015. His vision was clear. Kansas United would be an organization known for its commitment and dedication to fostering youth development through sports and community involvement. Originally founded as a youth basketball organization, Kansas United has found great success on and off the court. Their skill level, sportsmanship and work ethic on the court, as well as character, determination and positive attitudes has made Kansas United both successful and respected in the community of Lawrence, Kansas as well as regionally and nationally. 

Now, its time to take the Kansas United mentality and embrace the newest edition of the Kansas United Family. KANSAS UNITED VOLLEYBALL. The vision is the same. Kansas United Volleyball wants to continue the strong tradition of a winning mentality on and off the court. The goal is to take this generation of student athletes and lead them with ambition and passion. All Kansas United coaches pride themselves on investing in the empowerment of the student athlete. Kansas United Volleyball wants to give its team members the most compelling club volleyball experience possible. We want to inspire young athletes to learn the fundamentals of volleyball while instilling the core values of discipline, teamwork, respect and integrity.

Kansas United values the lessons that have long been taught by athletic participation: The pursuit of excellence through personal development, ethical and responsible behavior on and off the court, leadership and strength of character. While winning is not an end in itself, we believe that the efforts by our coaches and athletes, to be their best, will lead them to succeed throughout their entire lives.
